Port of Sines received China’s Minister of Customs


On May 27, the Minister of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, Ni Yuefeng, visited the Port of Sines accompanied by the State Secretary for Tax Affairs of the Portuguese government, António Mendonça Mendes.

The delegation, which also included senior representatives of the tax and customs systems of China and Portugal, was received by the President of APS, José Luís Cacho, who presented the main characteristics of Sines and port expansion projects. In fact, the Port of Sines offers a weekly connection with that country of the Far East, which represents an annual movement of more than 100 thousand containers.
