The SH Pratt-owned site opens its door, promising to “change the supply chain” for fresh produce

Halo project officially opens

The day featured a buffet and drinks reception followed by speeches from Oliver Treneman of DP World, Nigel Jenney of FPC, Robert Wells of SH Pratt Group and Gavin Knight of Halo. This was followed by the ribbon cutting and a tour of the new facility.

Knight, who is managing director of the Halo project, said: “This has been a three-year plan, with a significant investment, and I’m very proud of my team and excited to see how the supply chain embraces Halo.”

The site has passed quality approval audits from two major supermarkets, and operations director Wayne Milne added: “To receive the accreditation last week, and then follow up with the official opening is brilliant. We have worked so hard leading up to this point, so to see the hard work come together is great. Now we must kick on and change the supply chain with this amazing state-of-the-art facility.”
