Stehr Consulting, working with Inland and Coastal Marina Systems and Howell MarineConsulting, is gathering perspectives from across industry to better understand current awareness, experiences, and attitudes towards nature-inclusive (“nature-positive”), eco-engineered design solutions for marine and coastal infrastructure.

The aims of this survey are to:

• Assess how different parts of the maritime and coastal sector currently engage with eco-structures in the context of nature-inclusive design.
• Identify perceived benefits, barriers, and drivers influencing adoption.
• Understand the strength of the commercial, regulatory, and environmental casefor these solutions.
• Gather insights to support future market development, policy alignment, and evidence generation.
